Very nice 10 point buck taken in a small draw between an alfalfa field and corn field. The weather was getting chilly and this buck made his appearance under my stand about 20 minutes before shooting light was over. I drew back with my Mathews bow and placed a nice shot right behind the shoulder in the vitals. He ran only about 30 yards and crashed near the creek bank. I was really happy with this nice southwest Virginia whitetail.

it was a 9 pt taken in bedford co on dec 24 2005 with a muzzelloader.he was chaseing a doe and was taken in the same stand that i saw hin in the 3rd day of early muzzelloader season in november. my buddy j c carter was with me and it was a good thing.i needed the help gettin this brusier off of the mountain.the deer scored 144 7/16.it has 7 in bases and is 24 1/16 tall
