I called this guy in to the front porch of my house in the evening of dec 1st. Went out the next morning about 300 yrds into the woods and called all day. He came back through that eve at about 4:00pm rutted up good and took him at 15 yrds with a knight revolution. 9 point, 15" spread with a nice hook on the left base.

This was my very first buck after 4 seasons of does or nothing. A beautiful December morning in 2003, sunshine and a babbling creek put me to sleep in a pile of leaves. About 11:30 a small herd of does crashed across the ridge on the other side of the creek. I sighed and decided to take yet another doe. Through the scope I could see that one of them definitely wasn't a doe. .300 Weatherby at about 75 yards uphill, he didn't even take a step. Just laid right down. 11 pt, broken rt main beam and kickers off both G1's. 149 pts VA.

This buck appeared only minutes after two does had crossed a narrow field in front of me. It had snowed the day before and the field had many tracks from the night past. I had not had very much luck at this location in the past but the amount of tracks and the random pattern made me believe it might be just the spot to hunt that morning.

From my tree stand overlooking the swamp on a clear and cold 28 degree morning, I shot this 9 pointer/20" spread with my Remington 870 at 90 yards.I saw 13 does before he walked out. 20" spread.

it was the second big buck my little brother killed. well the only two deer he has killed. I think it is just luck.well maybe the first one was that he got last year on the very last day.Cant get the monster 8 point picture to download on to the computer. but the 11 point he got this year, i had been hunting for alyear an never could get a close enough shot at him with my crossbow. so i made my little brother go with me an sure enough within five min,he came right up the hill the same as always but then he turned an came right to us within 20 yards the first time he had got close enough for me to take a good shot.An i passed on it an told him to take him an he did. there is no better feeling n the world to see your brother best friend be so happy. but i can say luck is on his side.

it was a 9 pt taken in bedford co on dec 24 2005 with a muzzelloader.he was chaseing a doe and was taken in the same stand that i saw hin in the 3rd day of early muzzelloader season in november. my buddy j c carter was with me and it was a good thing.i needed the help gettin this brusier off of the mountain.the deer scored 144 7/16.it has 7 in bases and is 24 1/16 tall
